I am honored to lead and serve you this year as Academic Dean of Duncanville High School Collegiate Academy. Duncanville has been a part of my family for many years. I am a wife, mother and actively involved in my community.
As a Dallas native, I earned a Bachelor Degree from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas and Master Degree from Dallas Baptist University. Together we will Ignite Passion, Captivate Interest and Elevate Mindsets to ensure our scholars are well prepared with the necessary skills needed to contribute to the global society and write their next chapter successfully.
Radiah Dewberry - Counselor
I am proud to serve as the Duncanville High School Collegiate Counselor. This is my first year at Duncanville High School and my 19th year as a Professional School Counselor. I obtained a BA in English from Texas Tech University and a MA in School Counseling from the University of North Texas.
As a counselor it is of utmost importance that I provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program implemented to serve students from various backgrounds in the areas of academic, career, and personal/social development. As a proactive student advocate, I must recognize the uniqueness, dignity, and personal worth of each individual while collaborating with students, parents, educators, and community members to support each individual student. It is my responsibility to find and develop plans to remove any/all barriers in preparation for student success in our ever-changing society.
