Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0

TSIA2

TSIA 2.0 is a required exam that measures college readiness. For scholars enrolled in the Collegiate Academy, they are required to meet the TSIA 2.0 reading, writing and math standard prior to registering for college courses. The passing requirements are below.

  • ELAR - 945+ passing requirement or make a 910-944 with a diagnostic score of at least 5 and an Essay score of 5+
  • Math - 950+ passing requirement or make a 910-949 with a diagnostic score of at least 6.

It is imperative that all scholars meet TSIA2 requirements for reading and writing by the end of their 9th grade year. All scholars will need to meet TSIA2 requirements for math by the end of their 10th grade year.

TSIA2 Registration and Testing Dates for Collegiate Academy Scholars

Prior to taking the full TSIA 2.0 exam, your scholar will need to complete a pre-assessment activity. Scholars may access the pre assessment using this link - TSIA 2.0 Pre Assessment Link

Once the pre-assessment activity is complete, your scholar can register to take the exam using this link.- Register for TSIA 2.0. All tests will be given in the Duncanville High School Library computer lab G101 from 3:15 pm to 6:00 pm .

 

Sign-up will close one week prior to each test date. Please refer to the table below for specific test and closing dates:

TSI Tutoring

Ms. Fritz will be offering TSI Math tutoring sessions every Monday after school from 3:10 to 3:45 pm in room CA216. These sessions are designed to provide targeted support for students preparing for the TSI Math assessment, helping them to strengthen their math skills and build confidence in their abilities. Whether students need help with specific problem areas or simply want to practice and refine their math knowledge, these tutoring sessions will be a valuable resource. Students are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to receive personalized assistance and ensure they are fully prepared for the exam.
