Coronavirus (COVID-19) DHSCA Update

Dear Duncanville ISD families,

For the health and safety of our community regarding the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), Duncanville ISD will close indefinitely. This decision was not made lightly and follows advice from Dallas County Health and Human Services department (DCHHS).

Our priority is to make sure we take care of the health and safety of our students, staff, community and all stakeholders as we deal with this unprecedented crisis.

I know that our schools provide critical needs for our families and these extraordinary circumstances place a strain on families. Although we are not physically in school and district buildings, Duncanville ISD employees will continue to provide support for students.

Later this week, you will hear more details about how we will continue engaging our students in learning opportunities and provide meals for children.
